Permanent Residency and Citizenship through Investment
WHY CHOOSE MONTENEGRO?
After years of consideration, like many other countries, Montenegro has finally decided to attract foreign investment with Citizenship through Investment programs. The program will be valid for 3 years for the 2000 investors who apply from non-EU countries as of October 2018.
According to World Bank data, Montenegro has one of the fastest growing economies in the Balkans. Being a young state in a strategic position makes Montenegro a unique country for investors seeking security and a high quality of life.
The Montenegrin passport, which allows its citizens to travel to 121 countries without a visa, currently ranks 37th in the Passport Index. This number is expected to increase after Montenegro enters the European Union. Montenegro, a NATO member, has been included in the European Union's enlargement plans for 2025. The country is already using Euro as currency and is in the process of integrating EU laws into its national laws.
